Morné ScheepersFounder & Cost Consultant

Morné holds a B.Proc degree from the University of the Free State and has over 29 years’ experience in the specialised field of legal costs. He began his career at Naudes Attorneys in 1996, was admitted as an attorney in 1998 and was soon appointed as the firm’s in-house cost consultant. Since then, he has built a distinguished career as a leading expert in the discipline, with particular expertise in Supreme Court of Appeal costs.

Esther-Lana RellingCost Consultant

An admitted Attorney and Conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa, Esther-Lana brings almost two decades of specialised experience in drafting legal bills of costs.
She joined Morné Scheepers Cost Consultants on a full time basis in December 2019.
She began her legal career at Naudes Attorneys in January 2001, serving her articles there before being admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer. She went on to practise in the High Court Litigation Department at Naudes before joining Phatshoane Henney Attorneys to lead the Knowledge Centre .

Suzette VolschenkCost Consultant

With over 13 years of experience in drafting bills of costs, Suzette brings a wealth of expertise and precision to every matter she handles. Her particular strength lies in preparing Supreme Court of Appeal bills, where her attention to detail and deep understanding of complex legal processes consistently deliver exceptional results.

Our team collectively boasts an impressive 60+ years experience in drafting bills of costs. Drawing on decades of expertise, our team has built a reputation for precision, efficiency and integrity. From our base in Bloemfontein, we have served clients nationwide in matters ranging from High Court litigation to non-litigious cost assessments, always with the goal of delivering the best possible results.
